Quilt Block Challenge for Adirondack Folk School

Our group that meets the last Thursday of the month participated in the Quilt Block Challenge for the Adirondack Folk School. The blocks will be displayed at the Adirondack Folk School March 5 & 6, 2011. Ribbons will be awarded.

This class will have you making our cute basket to store your sewing/knitting supplies. you can also use it on your picnic table to organize your plastic ware, paper plates, napkins or even as a remote caddy. This charming basket will suit all your needs. Quick, fun and easy. Fabric Requirements: Basket base fabric 5/8 yd (may need more for directional prints), Fabric for the lining, outside pocket lining & binding 1 yard, fabric for outside pockets and inside pockets 3/8 yard (may need more for directional prints), 3/4 yd fusible fleece, 1 yard Timtex, walking foot is recommended, Optional: 1 yard Rick Rack. $25.00 Class Fee (1 Session Class) Friday 4/8/11 11am-4pm. Minimum of 4 students.
